SSWL produces a wide variety of diameters, rim widths and finishes — engineered for every application from city cars to OTR equipment. Multiple steel grades, advanced coatings, and signature processes like flow forming and high-vent technology give us a vast array of design options.
Flow-formed lines imported from Germany and Japan selectively thin rim sections at low-stress zones while hardening the material to preserve strength and safety. The result: up to 20% lighter wheels — supporting energy and emissions reduction at a meaningful price advantage over comparable alloy.
Engineered to the last millimetre — every wheel passes dimensional, fatigue, impact and balance checks.

Customisable wheel covers swap in to deliver multiple designs cost-effectively.
Alloy-wheel aesthetics achieved at substantially reduced steel-wheel cost.
Material Engineering
HSLA Steel — lighter, stronger, smarter.
High-Strength Low-Alloy (HSLA) steel delivers a superior yield-to-weight ratio compared with conventional carbon steel — giving us a route to lighter wheels that still carry the loads commercial and off-road applications demand.
Selectively deployed on heavy-duty, commercial-vehicle, OTR and tractor wheels — where every kilogram saved becomes a kilogram of payload gained.

Why HSLA Steel
High-Strength Low-Alloy steel — superior yield-to-weight ratio vs conventional steel.
Used selectively on heavy-duty, CV, OTR and tractor wheels where payload matters.
Higher fatigue strength enables thinner sections without compromising safety.
Better corrosion and impact behaviour than conventional carbon steels.
Cost-competitive vs alloy wheels for applications where weight, not aesthetics, is the primary driver.
Validation
Proven in simulation and on the rig.
Every steel wheel goes through the same R&D infrastructure we use for our alloy wheels — TUV-certified bi-axial fatigue, CAE-test correlation within ~5%, and a complete component-to-vehicle-level test matrix.
